You’re sure to catch fish with Captain Ross’s knowledge of the waters surrounding Cape Cod. Ross found his love for saltwater fishing over thirteen years ago when he moved to the cape. Fishing quickly turned into an obsession, and what started with Walmart gear ended with buying a house on the canal and daily trips out on the water. Ross has done plenty of commercial fishing and guiding, going from the Regal Sword to the dumps and everywhere in between. Being on the water every day of the week and sharing these amazing fishing experiences with guests is Ross's life passion. We target stripers, bluefish, black seabass, tautog, bonito, albies, and tuna across our trip offerings. Captain Ross’s boat is a 26’ Sportsman, with reliable yet speedy twin engines to make sure the trip runs smoothly. <div>Incredible Stripers in the thick fog!!! It’s almost September and these fish are still here.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Bluefin Tuna love these striper so much that a 500-600lb one grabed our 34 inch striper and took off. We set chase so we could get a closer look. After about an hour the Tuna was tired of us and gave us a wink and took several hundred yards of braid to the bottom of the spool and said goodbye. Although it was a spectacular chase, nobody got to give it a kiss goodbye.</div><div>DaiwaUSA fishing gear holds up to the best fish in the sea. <p>When I moved to Massachusetts 13 years ago, I'd had a little bit of saltwater fishing experience on the West Coast, but it certainly wasn't my passion. When my wife suggested I get into fishing, I had no idea what a pivotal moment it would be in my life. At this point, my impression of fishing was the classic old guy sitting on a dock in a chair with a bobber. I had no idea how exciting, addicting, and nuanced fishing really was, but I headed down to the tackle shop anyways and purchased a cheap rod and reel.</p><p><br></p><p>Many locals suggested checking out the Cape Cod Canal, and so that's what I did. With no real knowledge of the area or what I was doing, I somehow managed to hook into a massive fish. By the time the fish had made a couple of runs, it had broken the eyelet on my cheap rod. Unable to use my equipment, and with the fish still pulling at the other end of my line, I had to think fast and be resourceful. Luckily, I had brought some Kevlar gloves with me and was able to handline the fish all the way to shore. My adrenaline was pumping, and I was hooked. That's when I said to myself: "If I'm going to do this, I'm going to do this right." I decided to put in the time and buy high-quality gear.</p><p><br></p><p>Another reason I love fishing is that it's broadened my relationship with my son Jayden. Ever since he was eight years old, we've bonded over our passion for fishing. We used to fish from the shore and from our 20' center console. When he first started at eight years old, Jayden could hardly land any sized fish, but even as he got older over the next few years, we were able to consistently catch 30-lb and 40-lb class fish that he could barely pick up! This consistency catching big bass led me to pursue a stint of commercial fishing, during which I caught striper weighing in at 65, 62, 59, and 58 pounds, all weighed in on an IGFA-certified scale after they had already bled out on the dock.</p><p><br></p><p>Eventually, I decided to take the next step and get my Captain's License so I could have more knowledge about the water. Now I've upgraded my boat to a 28' Nauticstar. Being a fishing charter captain is truly my dream job, and now I love watching my clients catch fish and have a great time more than anything.&nbsp;I'm incredibly blessed to be on the water every day, and it's my mission to pass on my fishing knowledge and, more importantly, my passion to clients every single day!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Boat</strong>: We wanted to make sure that our boat was luxurious enough so that you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience right when you leave the dock. SEA YOU OUT ON THE CAPE

<p><em>If the cost of fuel is $5.00 or more per gallon on the day of your trip, your guide will add an additional fuel surcharge at the time of departure.</em></p><p><br></p><p>No Hard-Shelled coolers on the boat please, leave them in your vehicle.</p><p>No Big work boots or heavy hiking boots on the deck of the boat. Nonslip shoes are always recommended or boots to keep your feet dry.</p><p>Non-Drowsy dramamine is always recommended for all guests</p><p>The weather is always changnig in the Caoe so please dress warm and dry in the morning. It can be cooler, so layers are always best.</p><p><br></p><p>Price includes use of&nbsp;lures, reels, live bait, rods, and medical supplies.</p><p>no hard-shelled coolers onboard please. <p><strong>Our Boat</strong>: We wanted to make sure that our boat was luxurious enough so that you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience right when you leave the dock. We wanted a boat that’s durable and strong to handle the Cape seas, that's why we picked the Sportsman. It is the only company that uses the adhesive bonding agent that NASA/Space X uses to put panels on the shuttles that go to space, which makes it very strong. The Offshore Deep V Angler Hull takes all types of water. Even on small craft warning days, our boat can handle it easily. Reliability and safety-wise, we chose to upgrade from the 150 Yamaha engines to the 200 twin Yamaha engines so you will always make it back to the dock without any questions.</p>

<p><strong>&nbsp;Boat Amenities:</strong> The sound system allows us to be able to play your favorite song no matter what genre of music you like. The soft gunnel pads are comfortable for the clients to lean against while you are fishing which makes the day much more enjoyable. Our electronics and radar system allow us to track the fish and track the storms or any foul weather that may be coming towards us.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Safety: </strong>Our life raft allows us to have the utmost safety along with our Epirb satellite location device. We also have a satellite COM's phone so no matter how far out we are we still can reach land in case anything ever should go wrong.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Specialty Info: </strong> We have gone the extra mile to understand Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic Waters.&nbsp;Your captain has his Master’s Captains License and your mate has his Masters Captains License.
